mistake after mistake in the kindle edition. I would like it otherwise. but in just 1 page there are at least 15 of these:"Sp inal c ord injury is ..""cereb rospinal flu id""b lod vessels"and this is a constant on every page.. i really thought this book had great content but the awful typos were too distracting

Required text for nursing class and it reads a lot better than past required text I have had before. The chapters point out ways to educate patients and special nursing interventions for each disease. I also like it because it talks about what was standard practice in the past and why it has changed. Really did not mind spending the money on this one!

Required by my nursing program but have been using for the past 2 months and is a great wealth of information. The online NCLEX style questions and podcasts have helped with some of the areas I have been weak in. Would recommend for any nursing students.

I love this book! It is a requirement for my nursing school program, but I have found this book to be a great tool. It contains information about nursing theory, nursing diagnosis, anatomy & physiology, a little pharmacology (like the names of medicines to treat the different diseases within the body system of study), and more, all wrapped up in one text. This was a great purchase for me!

This book is one of the better ones. It was easy to follow along with and it provided many opportunities to test your learning (ie. questions at the end of the chapter/discussion points).

This book had pages missing! There were 6 pages that were there but completely blank like they hadn't been printed on. They were only in one of the chapters, and we didn't cover that chapter until the second semester of my class so I didn't notice until then! By then it was too late to return because I had already written/highlighted in the other chapters. I was so upset and they I needed the information on those pages so I ended up having to take a photocopy of a friend's pages and tape them over the white pages in mine. Very disappointed!

I was afraid to buy a book in this site after reading the reviews but what the heck I still did. I could not believe it arrived in 2 days & paid only standard shipping. The book was in better shape than in the bookstore. I got tired of going back & forth to the bookstore so I finally checked it in Amazon, the price was reasonable so now I can read it anywhere...anytime. I have most of RN's review books but it seems like they are all the same content. This is the best book I have ever read & it is so easy to remember & understand each chapter.

I am in the second semester of the nursing program and I bought this book new the content of the book is good easily understandable that's why I gave it the 4 stars I would recommended it to someone who is having trouble understanding. But the material itself is not by the end of the first semester the spine of the book was coming apart had to duck tape it, yes that's correct duck tape it so that it wont completely come apart. Overall great book for nursing !
